New Enhancements and Full Portfolio of Solution Suites to be showcased at ISTE 2019

Hoonuit, a leading provider of data management, analytics, and professional learning solutions in education, has introduced a new set of analytics tools and enhancements called Integrated Actions to benefit teachers in the classroom and improve student outcomes. Each Integrated Action was built around education agency initiatives and educator feedback to provide unique insights that empower teachers to maximize the use of their data.

Attendees of ISTE 2019 will be able to demo Hoonuit’s Integrated Actions from booth #2714 in the Microsoft Partner Showcase. Each of these tools and enhancements expands the use of Hoonuit’s robust data model and intuitive visualizations designed around education workflows to support school and district initiatives.

  • Improvement Planning – streamline and digitally document improvement plans with pre-built, configurable, and transactional workflows that make analysis actionable. This tool can also be used for individual and student group plans as well as school improvement, action plans, Title I, safe and healthy, special education, special programs, and technology plans.
  • Integrated PD – as a leading provider of educator professional development for over 18 years, Hoonuit used Microsoft Azure Media Services and Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services to integrate these powerful online learning videos into its data and analytics platform dashboards.
  • ‘What to Do’ What to Do’ provides context and next steps about the specific metrics and data displayed on a Hoonuit dashboard to help educators make the most meaningful decisions. This integration is particularly helpful for users who have not been trained or have little experience analyzing data.
  • Classroom Dashboards – a “one-stop shopping” experience where teachers can quickly locate the data most relevant to them. Key academic information such as on track / off track, distribution of grades, attendance, discipline, assessments, special programs, and in-classroom demographics provide a thorough snapshot of every student and classroom.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis – Microsoft’s Power BI is embedded into the Hoonuit platform so users can get answers to questions immediately and perform intensive correlations without coding skills. Simply drag and drop any metric to create powerful visualizations on the fly.

“We are focused on helping districts and education agencies develop data-driven cultures and uncover insights that will make a difference for students,” said Shivani Stumpf, Hoonuit chief technology officer. “These tools and enhancements not only places data in the hands of educators but reinforces our commitment to providing the practical knowledge to take action and drive positive change in schools and classrooms.”

K-12 school districts, state education departments, and other education agencies can run these powerful program updates in the Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing Platform and Services with the speed, scale, and security needed to adhere to the ever-changing needs of the education industry.

“Hoonuit is a prime example of the education expertise, innovation and technology found within the Microsoft partner community. They are delivering transformative solutions that improve student outcomes today and continue to enhance their data and analytics suite to meet tomorrow’s challenges,” said Jamie Harper, Microsoft Vice President, U.S. Education.
